For example, a total window and frame replacement with high-performance ENERGY STAR® certified windows can make your home more comfortable, save energy, and help fight climate change. Additionally, there are state governments offering grants to local residents who upgrade their windows and doors to more energy efficient models. The grant money is intended to help reduce initial costs associated with the project, making it much easier for people to go green with their energy efficiency efforts.
