A: We are expanding our service range regularly. Nagy Bros serves many surrounding rural and smaller communities across the Interior, Kootenays, Shuswap, and Lower Mainland. If you do not see your town listed, please contact us. We often accommodate projects in communities throughout British Columbia.
Do you charge additional travel fees for installations outside Kelowna or West Kelowna?
A: We value transparent quoting. Travel logistics and installation costs for projects outside of Kelowna or West Kelowna are fully disclosed and included in your free estimate. You will not face unexpected fees.
Are your windows rated for British Columbia’s diverse climate zones?
A: Yes. All our windows meet strict Energy Star efficiency standards. We select our products to perform in BC’s unique climate, from the solar heat of Okanagan summers and alpine Kootenay winters to the moisture found in the Lower Mainland.
Do you assist homeowners with BC energy efficiency rebates in all service regions?
A: Yes. We are familiar with CleanBC and other provincial energy rebate programs. During your consultation, we provide guidance on eligibility requirements across all service areas to help you reduce your project costs.
Do you provide window and door services for commercial or multi-family properties outside the main hubs?
A: Yes. Our team is equipped to handle multi-family, strata, custom new construction, and renovation projects throughout all the regions we cover.
Do I need to visit your West Kelowna showroom, or can someone come directly to my property?
A: While our West Kelowna showroom is open for visits, we also offer professional on-site consultations and measurements directly at your property in any of our service regions.

Window & Door Rebates for Interior BC Homeowners
Window and door rebates are available to eligible Interior BC homeowners through several provincial and utility programs, including the Home Renovation Rebate Program, FortisBC income-qualified rebates and the CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program. Eligibility depends on factors such as your utility account, primary heating source, household income and the home itself. FortisBC and BC Hydro both serve communities throughout the Interior, while Penticton and Summerland operate municipal electric utilities that participate in applicable rebate programs.
How eligibility works:
- Confirm your utility and program eligibility. Your home generally needs to be a year-round primary residence connected to an eligible residential utility account. Requirements vary by rebate program.
- Check the U-Factor on the label. Eligible windows and doors generally require a U-factor of 1.22 W/m²·K or lower.
- Replace existing openings. Eligible products must replace existing exterior windows or doors. Each rough opening counts as one unit, including a multi-section bay window. Skylights are excluded.
- Use a qualified contractor. Standard FortisBC rebates require installation by a licensed BC contractor. CleanBC Energy Savings Program projects must use a Registered Contractor approved for that program. Self-installations are not eligible.
- Keep the paperwork. FortisBC applications require detailed paid invoices and product information, including the U-factor, model number, certification details and NRCan reference or CPD number. Photos of the installed product labels are also required.
- Watch the deadlines. Standard FortisBC applications must be submitted within six months of the invoice date and may take up to 90 days to process.
Income-qualified households may be eligible for substantially higher rebates. FortisBC offers an income-qualified window and door rebate for eligible electricity customers, while the CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program offers additional assistance based on household income. CleanBC Energy Savings Program window and door upgrades require approval before installation, so check eligibility before work begins.
Program details current as of September 2026.
Rebate applications can be confusing, so we’re happy to help make the process easier when we can.
